Support for Our Patients & Their Families

We recognize that the journey to recovery from severe trauma impacts not only the individual patient but also their loved ones. We are committed to providing a supportive and informative environment for everyone involved, fostering understanding and collaboration wherever possible.

Healing Together: The Role of Family in Recovery

We understand that families play a crucial role in the recovery process. When appropriate and with patient consent, we offer opportunities for family involvement and provide support to help loved ones navigate this challenging time. This may include:
  • Family Therapy Sessions

Facilitated sessions aimed at improving communication, understanding family dynamics related to the trauma, and building a supportive home environment.

  • Educational Resources

Providing families with information about PTSD, complex trauma, the treatment process, and how they can best support their loved one's healing journey.

  • Regular Communication

Keeping designated family members informed about their loved one's progress, in accordance with patient confidentiality and preferences.
